Ornment, Marina Tam.
This typeface is inspired by the book “Art Forms in Nature,”
by Haeckel. This book captures his passionate artistic sensibility
and scientific rigor in all of his studies. Assembling various elements
of his underwater animals in to letters, I created this typeface “Ornments”.
Its organic symmetry , using a simple outline, attempts to represent
the animal shapes. The evolutionary statement of form is inherent
in its beauty.
